GOD’S VARIED GRACE  [2]

          Jesus Christ was sent to this earth because of God’s love and grace (John 3:16).  We did not deserve this great gift because of our sins, but God sent Him anyway.  To receive Christ as your Savior is to receive the grace of God, as far as salvation is concerned.

          Belief in Jesus, repenting of our sins, confessing that Jesus is God’s Son, and being baptized for the remission of our sins is the response we make to God’s grace (John 8:24; Acts 2:38; Romans 10:9-10: Mark 16:15-16).
