Being a Christian is more than making the claim. Some have claimed to be doctors, but later were exposed as frauds and accused of practicing without a license. One is not a Christian unless God calls him one. The term "Christian" in the New Testament is associated with a saved person. Jesus told the Twelve to "make disciples" (or followers) by baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:18-20). [more next week]
