 THE BIBLE – GOD’S INSPIRED BOOK  [1]

          Paul wrote in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 that “all scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable…”  What did Paul mean by the term “inspiration”?  Literally, the word means “God-breathed”.  This gives us the origin of Scripture – God, not man.  The words of the Bible are God’s words, not man’s.  While man might have written them down, the words came from God.   [more next week]
