 THE BIBLE – GOD’S INSPIRED BOOK  [4]

          Since the Bible is God’s inspired Book, what are the consequences of it being inspired?  First, the Bible is authoritative.  It is the final revelation from God to man.  To the Jew, the Old Testament was authoritative as long as it was in effect.  To the Christian as well as any person today, the New Testament is God’s authority for our belief and practice.  Second, the Bible is free from error, mistakes and contradictions.  How could it be otherwise since the words came from God!  Read, study, and obey the word of God!
