 JESUS IS GOD  [1]

          The apostle John wrote his account of the life of Jesus as a personal eyewitness and close friend.  He writes of Jesus as both a man and the only begotten Son of God (John 1:14, 3:16).  He introduces Jesus in these words, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with (the) God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1).  No more stunning introduction of Jesus could be given.   [more next week]
