 JESUS IS GOD  [4]

          The Word (Jesus) was with God.  Jesus is distinguishable from God, but never separated from Him, for He is Himself God.  John said, “the Word was God.”  To say that the Word was God is to say that Jesus is divine!  He is deity.  He possesses all the attributes of deity.  He is eternal, omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent.  No wonder Thomas said, “My Lord and my God” (John 20:28).   [more next week]
