 THANKSGIVING

          While the Thanksgiving holiday is past, the virtue of being thankful should remain.  Ingratitude is a sin.  In Luke 17, Jesus healed ten lepers.  Only one returned to thank Him.  Jesus said, “Were there not ten cleansed?  but where are the nine?” (Luke 17:17).  The greatest gift God gave was His Son.  We can thank Him for that gift by becoming one of His Son’s followers and thus become an heir of eternal life.  “Be thankful unto him, and bless his name” (Psalm 100:4).
