          Using the word THINK – as in Think before you speak – we made the following acronym: T for true and H for helpful.

          I should speak what is Important.  We are encouraged to speak words “fitly spoken” (Proverbs 25:11).  Hasty words spoken without thought are usually not important after all.

          I should speak what is Necessary.  Sometimes silence is golden.  James 1:19 says, “Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.”   (more next week)
