 WHAT IS THE GOSPEL?  [4]

          Finally, the gospel contains promises to be enjoyed.  We enjoy the remission of our sins through the gospel (Acts 2:38; Ephesians 1:7; 1 John 1:9); we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit after our baptism (Acts 2:38-39; Romans 8:12-13); we will also enjoy the gift of eternal life at the end of our lives after the judgment day (Romans 6:22-23; Mark 10:29-30; Matthew 25:46).  Thus, the gospel is “good news.”  Have you obeyed the gospel yet?
