 WHO KILLED JESUS?  [1]

          The movie, “The Passion of the Christ”, has stirred up controversy over this question.  Maybe we ought to let Scripture answer that question.  First of all, God Himself had a role in the death of His Son.  According to Acts 2:23, “Him (Jesus), being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God…”  Jesus Himself understood that it was His Father’s will that He die, so He prayed, “nevertheless, not as I will, but as thou wilt” (Matthew 26:39).  So, God was involved in Jesus’ death.   (more next week)
