WHO KILLED JESUS?  [2]

          A second person involved in answer to this question is Jesus Himself.  No one took His life; He died voluntarily.  In John 10:18, He said, “No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again.”  Jesus did not die until He was ready to die.  He submitted Himself to the cross because He loved us.  His mission was to seek and save the lost and that involved His death on the cross.   (more next week)
